A little about me
I’ve known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to work in the mental health field. Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by people: their stories, their experiences, and what shaped them into who they are.
By nature, I’m a nurturer. Connecting with others and helping people feel seen, understood, and included has always come naturally to me. Caring for others isn’t just something I do, it’s at the core of my work.
Outside of being a therapist, I’m also a big sister and a mother, both of which deeply shape the way I show up in the therapy space. Clients have often told me I bring “big sister energy” into sessions — a balance of warmth, honesty, support, with a little bit of a push when you need it!
I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and feel deeply connected to my Broward roots (casual weekend strolls through the Swap Shop included, iykyk). I completed my undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University before continuing my education with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
When I’m not busy as a therapist, you can usually find me in my “third place”; Disney :) I’m an unapologetic Disney adult and try and go as often as I can. I enjoy spending time with my family, and chill afternoon walks with our dog, Sky. I almost always have my favorite Starbucks drink (Strawberry Refresher with lemonade). My ideal night would be at home cuddled up on the couch with a big bucket of popcorn, watching a good suspense/horror movie!
Having worked with a variety of clients over the past few years, I've developed a passion for supporting teens and emerging adults in the following areas:
ANXIETY / DEPRESSION / RELATIONAL CHALLENGES / IDENTITY SEARCHING / BIG LIFE TRANSITIONS / COLLEGE AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT / TEEN MENTAL HEALTH
